ISO 22301 / Business continuity

Verify an ISO 22301 certificate.
Check what it covers.

Confirm the certified entity, scope, issuing body, accreditation and current status before relying on a certificate.

08 / Certificate validity & verification

Trust begins
with verification.

Look beyond the certificate’s appearance. Check the certified organization, its scope, the issuing body and the current certification status.

A QR code can help you reach a record. It does not, by itself, prove the certificate’s authenticity or acceptance for a particular tender.

Also use the issuing body’s directory. Missing or conflicting records should be clarified directly with the issuer.

01

Match the certificate.

Confirm the legal entity, number, standard, certified activities, covered sites, dates and current status.

02

Check the accreditation scope.

Verify that the appointed certification body holds current accreditation covering the relevant ISO 22301 services.

03

Confirm the recognition you need.

Check the applicable recognition scope and your buyer’s conditions. General membership is not proof of recognition for every scheme.

UAF, IAS and international recognition

UAF and IAS publish BCMS accreditation provisions. The actual issuer and its current ISO 22301 scope must be verified before a proposal is made. Current international cooperation information is published by Global ACI; its site links to IAF CertSearch. Secure Bridge does not issue accreditation or make certification decisions.

Make your next step clear.

Prepare your scope and discuss an independent certification connection.
